Julie Halferty

Julie is a licensed attorney who served 26 years with the FBI where she oversaw adjudications of employee investigations involving security cases. Prior to this she managed human resources programs for the Finance and Facilities Division and the Transfer Program in the Human Resources Division in the FBI. She served as legal counsel in the Pittsburgh Office of the FBI and was a Special Assistant United States Attorney in Phoenix, Arizona. As an agent she investigated and supervised financial crime cases to include international wire fraud, investment fraud schemes, public corruption, health care fraud, mortgage fraud, bank fraud, and civil rights. Prior to the FBI, Julie was as an assistant public defender in West Virginia.

Julie graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and the University of Dayton School of Law in 1994. She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

In her spare time, she enjoys managing a 17-year-old son who attends high school and spends time on a crew team as well as her own time as a rower.
